I love my Baby Bjorn. My baby is pretty fussy but the carrier will reliably make her calm and quiet every time. I walk her and our dogs about 3 miles a night using the carrier and it is incredibly comfortable. I use it for grocery shopping too- free hands and happy baby. I literally use it everyday. If you are an active type person-this is a must have.

Lifesaver

I love my Baby Bjorn and so does my baby. It is often the one thing that will calm her when nothing else will. I have also found it to be essential to post partum recovery. While I recover , I can't lift my baby in her car seat, but I can carry her in the Baby Bjorn. The lumbar support helps with this too!

Great overall

This is a great product. For me, my only complaint is after I've taken my son out of it, but I am still wearing the Bjorn (in the car for example) it is really bulky compared to the original model. I have to wear a jacket or vest over top and I zip it over the Bjorn when my son is not in it in order to keep it out of my way. All in all, VERY useful especially at the grocery store when baby is too small for the shopping cart. And SUPER job from this website with fast delivery. If I remeber correctly it arrived the next day. And they are the only site that had the most colors in stock.

Regular model better

We are a very active family. We hike nearly every weekend. I purchased the active model with my second child and wish I still had the regular model which was fantastic! I cannot seem to get the active to fit just right.

Baby Bjorn Active Carrier, a huge help!

The Baby Bjorn Active Carrier was a great way for me to be close to my daughter while still getting some things done around the house. It gave me back my arms and hands as my baby snuggled into my chest. I used it daily for the first 5 months. Once my daughter was big enough to face forward, the front flap did have a tendency to flip up a cover her face. Hopefully they have fixed that by now.

Sleeping Babies are Bliss

Our three-month old *LOVES* his Bjorn. He's guaranteed to fall asleep within minutes when he's in it, and it's so much easier on our tired backs than some of the other carriers we've tried.

great carrier

I used this from the moment my little guy was 8lbs until he was 7 months old and we moved him to a backpack. This was a must-have item to keep him close but my hands free. The 'active' part of this carrier is extra back support and a nice feature but I was unsure how much more support it gave over the standard Baby Bjorn. I would purchase this item again, though, and recommend the Baby Bjorn over other carriers that friends spent less on and were unhappy with, to any expecting parent.

I don't know what I would do without this. Baby #2 arrived just as baby #1 started getting very mobile. With my baby bjorn, I just strap my newborn in and she sleeps against my chest until it's time to eat! It leaves my hands free and my legs available for running after my son. Love it and thanks for shipping it so quickly!

We just got this carrier and we are most pleased. It is similar to the older style, but with some upgraded features. I wish they offered it in more colors. The childcarriers.com staff was most helpful, thumbs up!

May be uncomfortable for taller people

I've been using the Baby Bjorn Active for 2 months now and while it fits my wife okay (she's 5'1") I have found it impossible to adjust it so that it fits comfortably. It doesn't have a hip belt but the hip-belt-like part that grips around your torso grips just under my ribs. I'm 5'10" with average build. Other than the fit the Bjorn works well, pretty easy to get the baby in and out of it.

I use this everyday. The strap digs into my shoulders. I like it better than the sling when I need stability. I recommend this.

A must-have for active families

We decided to purchase the Active carrier because we planned to use it frequently and we were warned that we would have a big baby, therefore, we opted for the extra support of the Active model. We have used the carrier since our baby was born and he is now 6 months and 20lbs. The Baby Bjorn Active distributes weight well, is easy to put on and take off and our baby likes being close to mom and dad. It has been a lifesaver for little things like wearing it while vacuuming and folding laundry. We also use for shopping and for taking a long walks. We bring it everywhere and our baby stays content in the Baby Bjorn for longer periods of time than in his stroller. Truly an awesome product.

Great for City living

My husband and I purchased this product when our son was born. We live in Chicago, and take public transportation frequently, so we figured this would be a good buy. We were right! From the time our son was 8 pounds and a newborn until now (he is 12 months old and around 22 pounds) he has fit into this carrier. We use it almost every day to get around town. My husband used it for three months daily on the bus to get to work with our son while taking him to daycare. He still loves it. He is starting to grow out of it now and we are looking to replace it with a backpack carrier. Since it is difficult to get around the city with a stroller while there is snow on the ground, this type of product is a must for us in the winter time. Another thing to note: I am 5'1" tall and 100 pounds and my husband is 6'6" tall and 240 pounds and the Baby Bjorn fit us both. (Although his is on the highest adjustment and mine the smallest.) I would recommend this product to anyone who lives in the City with an infant!!
