To me this pack is great. My son loves it. At first it was a little uncomfortable on the shoulders. With some minor tweaking I had the pack adjusted just how I like it. Soon after I hit the trail for a 2 mile trek. My son is 8 months old and weighs 30 lbs. This pack did an outstanding job of evenly distributing his weight. At the end of our hike my back was pain free. I am very pleased with this purchase.
