Baby Carrier: Silvery Marmoset (Callithrix argentata)
Silvery marmoset fathers carry their infants, bringing them to their mother for milk every few hours.
Marmosets live in extended families of about twelve, in which all members help care for their young.
Baby marmosets, or fledglings, are weaned at around 6 months, switching to their adult diet – which consists mainly of tree sap.
