Skip Hop has introduced a new, less-cumbersome addition to their massively popular line of "gender neutral" diaper bags: the Saddlebag. Unless you opt for one of the more "girly" designs, this trendy but moderately priced bag can be passed back and forth between mom and dad without either of them feeling out of touch. Dad doesn't need not worry about going out in public looking like he's carrying something that grandma bought (for herself), and mom can feel confident that she's sporting a diaper bag that's hip, durable, and very useful.

The Skip Hop Saddlebag is a bit smaller than the Dash, but unlike Skip Hop's other hanging bags, this one is specially designed to hang on the side of your stroller. Hence the name, "Saddlebag." The side hanging feature prevents the tipping problems associated with overloaded bags that hang from a stroller's handles, and a mesh pocket on the "front" of the Saddlebag allows your toddler to get their bottle or sippy in and out without much fuss. The Skip Hop Saddlebag uses three sets of specially designed straps to secure it to your stroller, so it will work with just about any stroller out there-- singles, doubles, joggers, whatever.

The Saddlebag is a medium sized Skip Hop bag; it has a divided main pocket and a clasping front flap with an exterior zip pocket. The only drawback of the Saddlebag the we've noticed is that is doesn't have a shoulder strap, so when you take it off the side of your stroller you'll have to carry it by hand with the grab strap, which can be inconvenient. Since it lacks a changing pad or wipes case you can't call it a 'full service' diaper bag. However, if you pair it with Skip Hop's slim, portable fold-up changing pad (with a wipes case) known as the Pronto, you're all set.
