The Premature/Newborn hold for babies up to six weeks ensures that their head, neck, spine, and hips receive the ideal amount of support at all times. Low birth-weight babies benefit significantly from this position. Once your child is able to sit independently, you can carry them on your back in the On the Back hold.
There's no need to re-tie the Organic CuddlyWrap™ every time you take your child in or out; you can even change their position without removing it. Because the Organic CuddlyWrap™ wrap is made of 100% lightweight, ring spun organic cotton* material, it breathes extremely well.

What 'holds' are available with the Organic CuddlyWrap™?

• Premature/Newborn Hold: For infants to 6 weeks; The Cradle position, ideal for nursing mothers; the Upright position keeps their head close to your shoulder with baby's head fully supported, ideal for fussy babies
• Classic Cuddle Hold: Like a front carrier; inward or outward facing for babies with stable head control
• On The Back Hold: For children 6 months or older, when baby is able to sit up independently
