Our Review of the LittleLife Freedom baby backpack
The LittleLife Freedom Child Carrier takes you and baby on grand adventures. Using a fully adjustable Airflow Back System, the Freedom maintains an air gap between the carrier and your back. The large front pocket offers ample storage for drinks, snacks and other essentials. A rain and sun canopy is included.
Standout Features:
- Plenty of storage for adventures with baby
- Airflow design keeps your back cool
- Waistbelt pivots with your movement for added comfort
- Anatomical seat is comfy for baby
Benefits for You: Store diapers and toys in the roomy back pocket and base pocket. Keep bottles at the ready in the side bottle pocket. Baby stays in full view with the mirror.
The pivoting waistbelt allows the Freedom baby carrier to move with you. Stay comfortable and dry with the adjustable Airflow Back System, which creates a gap between the baby backpack and your back to allow air to keep you cool. The Freedom's shoulder straps adjust to accommodate caretakers of different torso lengths.
LittleLife's innovative Anchor Point allows you to use your foot to stabilize the pack while loading baby and gear. Unlike a kickstand, the Anchor Point keeps the pack totally under your control - perfect for when your little one gets squirmy. Top and side grab handles make for easy lifting. The reflective piping adds safety.
Benefits for Baby: The anatomically shaped child seat feels good on baby's bum. Add comfort with the LittleLife Comfort Pack, which includes adjustable foot stirrups and a pillow. The soft face protection pad makes naps super comfy. Toy loops keep baby's entertainment from getting lost. Pop on the sun and rain canopy when weather strikes.
Comparison: For those needing a minimalist baby backpack, get the LittleLife Discoverer. The frameless Discoverer features the Air Flow Back System and pivoting hip belt, but the lack of a frame makes this carrier better suited for quick trips around town.
The Deuter Kid Comfort III offers similar storage capacity and oodles of adjustability, but utilizes a kickstand instead of LittleLife's anchor point system. The Deuter Kid Comfort III also looks sportier than the Freedom carrier.
