Our Review of the Brooks Pond Metro Carrier Cover
The Brooks Pond Metro Carrier Cover is an oversized and thickly insulated wrap (or 'bunting' or maybe, 'slide-on sleeping bag') that slides over any front child carrier, car seat, or even a stroller seat. The Metro Carrier Cover's integrated adjustable hood and collar can keep your baby boy or girl's head warm.
The Metro Carrier Cover's quilted Thinsulate lining offers some of the best insulating qualities around, never too hot nor too cold. The inner lining is of a faux suede cloth and the outer lining is a tightly woven water resistant nylon.
There are a lot of companies producing carrier covers that slip over and insulate kids when in front or hip carriers. It can be a pain to get your bundled-up child into a carrier, requiring lots of readjustment and (worse) lots of whining. Insulating carrier covers like the Brooks Pond Carrier Cover make strolls in the cold much easier.
The Brooks Pond Carrier Cover has a few things on the competing carrier covers: it's not as loud (color wise), isn't gender specific, and its size is adjustable. All in all Brooks Pond has a great product on their hands.
